The Client Development Unit will operate as the overarching unit for revenue generation. The unit will be required to work closely with CDU Representatives, Financial Advisors, Account Executives, Brokers, Marketing, and other business development areas to grow the business of the Group. This entails identifying and assessing strategic opportunities with Clients across all lines of business to create long term value for the organization.

Manage all assigned direct business leads to convert business.
CDU Business Development Officer must achieve annual production targets across all lines of business (life insurance, health insurance, general insurance, and loans). Targets will be agreed upon in advance and subject to change.
Effectively cross-sell to existing Clients.
Secure new business through a variety of methods, such as cold calling, email, referrals, personal leads, and leads that are provided.
Services existing Clientele within Client Development Representative’s portfolio, inclusive of un-serviced clients.
Maintain a healthy portfolio. A retention rate target will be agreed upon in advance and subject to change.
Build existing and develop new business relationships.
Identify and communicate sales opportunities throughout all sales channels.
Coordinate & attend, as necessary, any marketing events or activities for the Client Development Unit.
Provides support to the Coordinator and Team Leader.
Participates in projects, meetings, training and presentations when necessary.
Assists with special marketing exercises.
Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
Minimum 5 CXC O’Level passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2 in Mathematics and English A and
6 CAPE passes or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate and
A Bachelors in Business management, Insurance, or a related field
Sales experience is mandatory
Insurance sales experience is an asset
