Our client is searching for a Financial Controller with a background in luxury hotels to work at their hotel located in the Cayman Islands. This job presents an outstanding opportunity for hotel finance professionals seeking challenging work in a fast-growing company.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

• Supervise Accounting Department inventory participation and record keeping

• Prepare G/L for financial reports.

• Prepare P/L variance analysis as required.

• Prepare key indicators report.

• Prepare supporting worksheets for assets and liabilities accounts.

• Do cost efficiency analysis – make recommendations for improvement.

• Assist in preparing the coming year’s operation budget.

• Assist in the preparation of the Capital Improvement Budget.

Financial Controller Requirements:

•        2 years of hotel accounting experience with Marriott, Hilton, or Ritz Carlton background

•        Well organized, and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up.

•        Ability to work under pressure and extensive hours.

•        Experience with PeopleSoft or a similar accounting package is preferred.

•        Prior experience with Outlook soft/BPC preferred.

•        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel.
