Nursery: Bright Horizons Oak Lane Day Nursery and PreschoolSalary: £25,355.20 – £34,153.60 per annum (pro-rata) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)Location: Twickenham, LondonWe are looking for a part time, Level 2/3 qualified Practitioner to join our Bright Horizons Oak Lane Nursery, situated close to Twickenham and St Margaret’s train stations and Richmond tube. This role is for 20 hours.Our 71-place nursery is proudly Ofsted rated ‘Good’. The nursery has been open since 2016 and is thoughtfully designed, having five home bases tailored to each age group. What you’ll be doingPlan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones.Observing, tracking and reflecting on learningDevelop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnershipsPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all timesWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basisWhat we’re looking forFull and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parentsAbility to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adultsStrong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with childrenBright Horizons are committed to creating inclusive environments where everyone has a sense of belonging and has the opportunity to contribute and thrive in meaningful and impactful ways.
