Mission:
- Is responsible for the implementation of the company’s Kitchen strategy, standards and procedures in their area.
- Responsible for the implementation of F&B tools: operational guides, recipes, production sheets, price tags, product purchase lists.
- Is responsible for communicating the operational needs, tools, product improvements and qualities to the Executive Chef of the Operations Center.
- It is responsible for the start-up of the Service: it supervises the preparation of orders based on the needs of the service.
- Hold regular meetings to review the services provided based on upcoming events with the related departments (sales, kitchen, and reception).
- Coordinates events with Kitchen and Room
- Analyze the cost/income ratio
- Make the necessary orders.
- Carry out a review of the events with your team once they are finished: discrepancies, possible improvements.
- Training of specialized personnel in the area in this type of cuisine.
- Directly responsible for each event of his specialty, weddings, banquets, meetings, etc…
- Organize special theme stations as part of the buffet standards.
What are we looking for?
Education:University degree and/or higher in Tourism; training in Gastronomy/Culinary and very valuable training to keep up to date with trends in the area.
Languages: Spanish, English
Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of food handling, hygiene and food safety.Culinary knowledge of the kitchen. Up to date with specialized kitchen trends
Experience: 2 years in a similar position
