For our consulting team in Latin America, we are looking for a passionate Stakeholder Manager (m/f/d) to deliver unique and modern consulting solutions for our customers across the region. The focus of this position is the management of the railway project and is an exciting career opportunity to grow professionally in a team of senior railway engineers.

Responsibilities:
- Represent the interests of DB over the course of the project
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders involved in the project (e.g. governmental & semi-governmental ministries and institutions, contractors and other third parties), addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally
- Conduct regular stakeholder assessments to understand their perspectives, expectations, and potential risks or opportunities toward the project
- Organize, attend and follow up on stakeholder meetings
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders while ensuring compliance with relevant laws, internal DB regulations, and industry standards governing stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are adequately considered
- Facilitate communication and negotiation between stakeholders and the company, promoting transparency, trust, and mutual understanding
- Other duties as delegated by the Project Director
Qualifications:
- A degree in Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Transportation Management or a related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience; proven experience in stakeholder management, community relations, or public affairs within the railway, infrastructure, or transportation sector
- Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and cultural dynamics of Latin American countries
- Resilient, flexible, independent, and well-structured working approach
- Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills while maintaining a high level of discretion
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset
- Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Readiness to travel within the LATAM region
- Fluent in Spanish and professional working proficiency in English. Other languages (e.g. German) would be a plus.
