Job Title: Temporary Live-in Chef/Housekeeper

Location: Beautiful Island of Bermuda

Duration: January 1st to March 14th, 2024

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Temporary Live-in Chef/Housekeeper to join our team on the stunning island of Bermuda for a period of 2 months. In this unique role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a private residence, including cooking three meals a day, tending to the needs of three dogs, chickens, and one cat, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the house.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Culinary Excellence:

– Prepare three delicious and nutritious meals per day, including snacks, catering to the specific dietary preferences and requirements of the residents.

– Maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen, keeping track of inventory and ensuring freshness of ingredients.

– Plan and execute special meals or events as requested by the residents.

 

2. Animal Care:

– Provide attentive care for three dogs, including feeding, exercise, and ensuring their well-being.

– Attend to the needs of chickens, ensuring they have adequate food and water.

– Care for a cat, including feeding and providing companionship.

 

3. Housekeeping:

– Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all living areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common spaces.

– Perform regular house cleaning tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping.

– Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and organizing clothing and linens.

 

Qualifications:

– Prior experience in culinary roles, with the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.

– Proficiency in housekeeping and cleaning tasks.

– Comfortable with pet care and animal handling.

– Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently.

– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

– Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
