Job Description
The Warehouse Clerk for POS serves to ensure that the movement of POS devices are seamless to and from both suppliers and customers. The position under the supervision of the Team lead, logs, tracks and monitor the quality-of-service delivery by ensuring that cases progress quickly to final resolution and that customers have a good experience to drive client satisfaction and retention.
CONTRACT TYPE: FIXED-TERM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive POS devices from suppliers and customers, checking them for damage, conduct power-on test of devices and update relevant system(s).
- Liaise with POS Repairs Supervisor to ensure the return of devices collected by Merchant Support Officers (MSOs) and return to the customer.
- Receive and log POS, computing or printing equipment delivered by external customers for repair.
- Checks and ensures repaired devices are placed in storage or returned to the customers in keeping with the SLA.
- Checks daily work orders and pulls required POS devices for pickup by MSOs.
- Prepares requests for daily delivery of POS devices to local regional hubs and ensures timely shipment.
- Prepares daily, weekly or monthly reports as required by the manager.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or certification in a related field, IT/MIS troubleshooting skills would be a plus
- At least one (1) year relevant work experience in a customer care or quality assurance.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Customer focus orientation – client focused with ability to quickly assess and understand client needs and pain points and identifying potential solution that can be provided by the company.
- Technical proficiency – demonstrated skills and knowledge of functionality, and operating systems of relevant products. Should be able to apply academic knowledge to issues resolution.
- Good planning, organizing and time management skills is able to prioritize, and co-ordinate varied tasks and meet deadlines while providing a high level of customer service.
- Communication Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with ability to effect follow ups as required.
- Good interpersonal skills Comfortable interacting with staff and business associates at all levels.
