Job purpose
The Customer Service Representative greets passengers traveling on airlines handled by the Company and facilitates the check-in process, baggage handling and boarding of aircraft.

 

The Passenger Service Agent acts as a ground host or hostess and is highly visible and helpful to the public. He/she provides assistance and related Passenger Services at the ticket counter, gate and baggage areas, and concourse of the airline they serve which includes meeting and greeting of passengers, check-in, aircraft boarding and deplaning, ticketing, baggage service, making boarding, deplaning and public announcements, providing connecting flight information and direction assistance, and handling unruly, upset, or angry passengers.
 

Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1.    Attend flight and staff briefing as required by the Airline.
2.    Checking-in and boarding of passengers.
3.    Providing excellent and professional Passenger Service (daily).
4.    To attend and participate in all training and development programs
5.    Perform office functions to assist in the smooth running of the daily operations.
6.    Pre and post flight preparation in accordance with Clients’ specification,
7.    Report safety and security breaches and submit reports where required.
8.    To adhere to all safety standards and procedures.
9.    To perform any other duties as directed by Management.
 

Additional functions to be performed as needed:

1)   May be required to perform duties as Ground Security Coordinator.

Qualifications & Skills
·         Working knowledge of computers and computer applications.

·         One year’s working experience in an Airline Passenger Service or Transportation Industry would be an asset.

·         Excellent customer service skills and a well-developed interpersonal skill.
Physical requirements
·         Required to stand for long periods while carrying out duties.

·         Ability to lift 50 lbs. weight.

·         Exposure to heat, noise and dust.
Travel requirements
Any necessary travel requirements will be communicated by your Department Manager.
