Job Description
We are seeking an Island & Resort Travel Agent to assist clients in planning and booking relaxing vacations to island and resort destinations worldwide. In this role, you will work directly with travelers to understand their preferences, recommend suitable destinations, and coordinate travel arrangements such as resorts, flights, cruises, and vacation packages. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a remote, customer-focused environment.
Island & Resort Travel Agents provide personalized service while ensuring each trip is organized, accurate, and stress-free from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
-Consult with clients to understand travel goals, budgets, and preferences
-Research island and resort destinations, accommodations, and travel options
-Create customized travel itineraries and vacation plans
-Book and confirm travel arrangements with accuracy
-Communicate important travel details, policies, and updates
-Provide customer support before, during, and after travel
-Maintain organized records of client communications and bookings
Requirements
-Strong communication and customer service skills
-Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
-Ability to work independently in a remote setting
-Basic computer skills and comfort using online systems
-Reliable internet access
-Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Previous travel, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus but not required
